This abstract relates to the topic, "Stories of the Prophets and Moral Teachings: A Comparative Study of the Quran and the Bible," the primary objective of which is to conduct an in-depth comparative analysis of the moral, social, and educational principles inherent in the stories of the Prophets (Qisas al-Anbiya) as narrated in the sacred texts of Islam and Christianity. This study is based on the premise that although followers of both religions differ in their theological interpretations and doctrines, there are shared ethical themes in the conduct and teachings of the Prophets concerning fundamental moral guidance for humanity. The research adopts a qualitative and textual comparative methodology. It will analyze selected stories of the Prophets from the Quran, the Old Testament, and the New Testament, focusing on figures such as Prophets Abraham, Moses, Joseph, and Jesus (peace be upon them). Specific emphasis will be placed on ethical themes such as patience and steadfastness, justice and equity, forgiveness and clemency, divine obedience, and truthfulness. This focus will clarify the differences in presentation and emphasis of these teachings across the two texts. Secondary sources will include a deep study of religious exegesis, academic articles on comparative theology, and authentic historical works. The potential results of this study will demonstrate that while the Bible contains more historical and narrative details in the stories, the Quran tends to focus more on the moral lesson and cautionary tale (Ibrah), yet a striking harmony and universal truth exist in the core ethical teachings. This research will not only aid in understanding the theological perspectives of both religions but also strengthen the foundations for interfaith dialogue, clarifying how these stories provide ideal moral guidance for a sustainable and just system of life in today's political and social context.
