Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and its integration with mobile technology have dramatically changed the manner in which Muslims access and engage with Islamic knowledge and practices. However, the role of Islamic Android AI applications goes beyond mere convenience; it raises important questions about the ethical and cultural implications of the use of AI in religious contexts. With the advancement of AI, there is an increasing likelihood that these applications will affect religious understanding, practice, and personal behavior, thus requiring a deeper analytical approach. The study will engage in an in-depth analysis of Islamic Android applications functionalities, user interfaces, and alignment with Islamic teachings through the examination of publicly available data such as applications descriptions, features, and user reviews on the Google Play Store. This paper examines the role of Islamic Android AI applications like Quran apps, prayer trackers, and Fataw services in meeting the spiritual, educational, and social needs of a modern, tech-savvy generation. It looks into the AI Islamic Applications function, advantages, challenges, user engagement and their socioreligious role.  The results highlight the potential transformative power these tools have for the practical integration of tradition and technology, emphasizing the need for collaboration between Islamic scholars and AI developers to guarantee that their application is both authentic and reliable.
